Sonakshi Sinha (born 2 June 1987) is an Indian actress and model.

She is the daughter of actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha and Punam Sinha. She has two brothers, Luv Sinha and Kussh Sinha.

Sinha started her career as a model and walked the ramp at the Lakme Fashion week 2008 and then again in Lakme Fashion week 2009.

She made her acting debut with the 2010 film Dabangg co-starring Salman Khan. The film went on to become one of the highest grossing Bollywood films.

Today marks Beti B's two-month birthday, and while most fans are sending messages of congratulations and well wishes to Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan, quite a few are also questioning why Aishwarya Rai's daughter still has no name.

Aishwarya delivered Beti B (or bitiya as grandfather Amitabh Bachchan is fond of calling her) on November 16, and shortly after the family brought her home from the hospital, Amitabh mentioned that a name would be chosen for the little girl in December. Abhishek gave an interview where he indicated that Amitabh would be asked to select a name, caterers said that they had been contracted for a fancy namkaran after the December holidays and Amitabh promised a name before the New Year.

Recently it was revealed that Aishwarya Rai had approved a name and announced it to the immediate family, but the family hasn't released it publicly.

Now even the most dedicated fans have become impatient, and they're voicing their concern over the lack of name to Amitabh. "Now.. @juniorbachchan princess #Beti B 2 months OLD..!!! hope she healthy and get her name...:)" was one such tweet. Another fan was more demanding: "@SrBachchan @juniorbachchan we want to see the BABY and we want to kn0w her name . WE LOVE BETI.B."

With the news that Aishwarya has selected a name (and with the passing of an inauspicious period which Amitabh joked about a few days ago) it seems likely that Beti B's name should be announced soon--and hopefully before Aishwarya Rai's fans become impatient to the point of losing interest!

Don 2 is an upcoming Indian action thriller film directed by Farhan Akhtar. It is a sequel to the 2006 film, Don: The Chase Begins Again. The film stars Shahrukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles and also Om Puri, Lara Dutta and Kunal Kapoor in supporting roles. The film marks Farhan Akhtar's return to direction after a gap of nearly 5 years. it also marks Khan's return to playing villainous characters in lead roles since his earlier films like Darr and Baazigar and first sequel in his two-decade old career.

It is set to release on 23 December 2011 in both 2D and 3D formats and will also be available in Tamil and Telugu languages. The film was shot in India, Germany, Malaysia and Switzerland

The film was announced with the original cast reprising their roles, with the exception of Arjun Rampal and Ishaa Koppikar. It was also announced that Lara Dutta and Kunal Kapoor were cast as new characters in the film.

Filming for Don 2 began from October 10, 2010 in Berlin. According to Khan, who also co-produced the film, the city was chosen as location for the film because the film demanded a more realistic backdrop, unlike some of his other films shot in more fairy tale like environments of countries like Switzerland. A 70-member crew from India traveled to the city two-week preparation for the film's shooting. The film was shot at Berlin's prime locations like Brandenburg Gate, the Olympia Stadium, The Gandarmen Market and the East Side Gallery.Khan bulked up for the film and developed a six pack. Khan also experimented with a variety of different looks, including long unkempt hair and a stubble. prepared her body for at least two months and requested the action choreographer that she wanted to do the stunts all by herself. While in Berlin, Khan made a 300-feet jump for a scene. In December 2010, shooting ended in Berlin.

In February 2011, the actors flew to Malaysia for the second phase of the shoot, where a few scenes were shot inside the Malacca Prison with real prisoners. A complete section of the prison block was made available for the shoot. In order to avoid any hitches, special crew T-shirts were made to differentiate crew-members from the prisoners as it was a high security zone.Filming in Malaysia lasted for a month and ended on March 20, 2011.

Khan became the only Indian actor to have successfully shot a film sequence in Germany, a country that is infamous for denying requests of international film shoots. A production executive stated that "Unlike the US, UK and Thailand, it isn’t easy to obtain permission to shoot in Germany. The rules are very strict and in order to be eligible one needs to clear at least 47 points out of 60 Shah Rukh Khan is so famous in Germany and that made a great difference to shoot Don 2 there". Sidhwani said, "We are the first Indian film which has managed to do that. There were certain pre-conditions that we were required to meet and we had to be very careful. Eventually they did open the doors for us. Once we were together on making the film, they proved to be extremely helpful." In the process, he joined Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt to become only the third actor able to obtain filming permission in Germany, after the former actors shot Valkyrie and Inglourious Basterds respectively.

Shahrukh Khan trained with international stunt and fight director Wolfgang Stegemann, who has worked in several high-profile Hollywood films. Wolfgang, who also plays a negative character called Karl in the film, created a special fight style for Khan. He said, "These are powerful and effective to knock off Don's enemies. I had to analyse Mr Khan's motions and find the perfect fight style for him. It is a mix between martial arts, Krav Maga, Wing Chun and Trapping, which has not been practised in Bollywood. It helped him endure long settings of fights together".

In September, 2011, filming resumed in order to shoot a song featuring the two leads.Another song was shot with Khan in Goa in late November, just a month before the film's release. This will be the first of a kind music video where instead of a choreographed song and dance treatment, they have opted to visualise the song as an action sequence. Speaking on this, Akhtar said "Its going to be a first of its kind music video which makes it really exciting to do. Instead of a song and dance treatment, we've opted to visualise the song as an action sequence.. to see Don vanquish his opponents while casually singing the words is surreal but very intriguing".

As a part of the campaign to promote Don 2 in seven cities across India, the film’s team comprising Shahrukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar will meet the fans in Jaipur on Friday.

The promotional event is being held at Crystal Palm mall in Jaipur. However, Shahrukh Khan won’t be able to make it on time as he was stuck in Ahmedabad as the plane developed a technical snag.

“Still stuck in plane with spoilt flaps can't take off from ahmedabad. Waiting for plane from mumbai..will meet all jaipur now in the morning... Sorry guys one of those technical plane thingies. Will make it up to u guys and girls at the mall in the morning...reaching jaipur by 1 am” Shahrukh wrote on his twitter page.

The programme at the mall is planned around 11am.

“Morning all.. In Jaipur, finally! 5 hr delay last evening!! Anyway, all's well that ends well.. See you soon!” Farhan Akhtar, the film’s director, tweeted.

Priyanka Chopra seemed excited about the promotional event and wrote: “Morning Jaipur... feels great to be in your city! Catch the entire Don team at Crystal Palm Mall at 11:00 am today. Cant wait 2 see u guys.”

Don 2 is slated to release on December 23.

The latest update on the yet untitled Shah Rukh Khan project with director Rohit Shetty is that the latter has decided to cast Kareena Kapoor in the movie instead of Katrina Kaif.

Rohit has been working on the script for quite a few days now. Initially, he wanted to remake the 1982 comedy Angoor with SRK. But the Ra.One star thought it would be better to do a romantic film first.

The film will go on the floor by early next year and the highlight will be its music, which will be composed by the one and only A. R. Rahman.

Kareena Kapoor continues to find herself in the middle of biggies. With RA.ONE through (which had incidentally released just a couple of months after BODYGUARD), it is time for her to now ignite promotion of AGENT VINOD. Announced over a year and a half back, this Sriram Raghavan film is now finally inching towards its eventual release date. A spy thriller with Saif Ali Khan in the title role, one wonders whether AGENT VINOD turned into a cause of frustration for the real life couple since the film saw a change in release timing every now and then.

"In October, we embarked upon the last schedule of the film," Kareena says with a sense of reassurance in her voice, "Honestly speaking, AGENT VINOD has taken just the right kind of time that a film of this scale really requires. It is just that since the film has been in news for such a long time, there is this perception amongst a few out there that it is taking time to complete."

One tends to agree with her here since the film did see an extensive shooting schedule for itself that was spread across the globe and required extensive pre/post production as well.

"Do you know that it has some serious action sequences which are on the same scale as any other big budgeted James Bond kind of a film," Kareena continues in an animated tone, "The fact of the matter is that this is hardly the kind of a film that can be made fast. Unlike a comedy that can be wrapped up in 50 days, AGENT VINOD does require some elaborate shooting schedules spread over months."

On a parting note, Kareena adds, "It is a very big film and we are into the last leg now. Saif, Sriram and Dinesh (Vijan) are working out the logistics for the film's release. In the first quarter of next year, we would be definitely unveiling AGENT VINOD."

Though she is keeping cards close to her, sources indicate that the film is all set for February release.

London: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's latest superhero film Ra.One had its London premiere at the famous O2 arena here last night and judging from the viewers reaction the Indian science fiction seemed to be a "hit".

Shah Rukh's stellar performance is a major attraction of the film but co-star Kareena Kapoor and Armaan Varma have also acted brilliantly.

Thousands of fans, after hours of waiting, went wild as Shah Rukh, wife and the film producer Gauri Khan, Kareena and actor Arjun Rampal walked the red carpet.

They cheered the stars repeatedly and sought their autographs and posed for photographs.

Replying to queries, SRK said though the film has been made at international standards, "it's soul is pure desi. It has singing and dancing."

Shekhar (Shahrukh Khan) is a graphics designer, who believes in simple living and high thinking.

But his son (Armaan Varma) mistakes him to be a coward. Shahrukh tries every trick to win his love. In a bid to prove himself, Shekhar designs a game.

However, all hell breaks loose when the game starts playing them.

What happens next is quite mind boggling which keeps the viewers glued to the seats.

Shahrukh has delivered superb performance in both roles like Shekhar and G.One and he emerges as the showman.

Kareena also impressed the audience with her witty dialogue and fine acting. Arjun and Armaan have also done excellent acting.

The works of technical department are absolutely superb. Vishal-Shekhar's music is superb. Their background score is equally electrifying and their composition of songs like 'Chammak Chhallo', 'Dildaara' and 'Raftarein' are winners.

The visual effects of Ra.One are another highlight of the film and the stunning chase, action scenes and train sequence hold the audience spell-bound.

The film is being released today in about 5,000 screens worldwide.

After the late night premiere at the O2 arena, SRK, Gauri, Kareena, Arjun and others associated with the film moved to Court House hotel in central London owned by leading NRI hotelier Joginder Sangar and partied till around 3 am.

According to director Anubhav Sinha, the idea of making Ra.One originated while he was watching television six years ago.[6] Upon writing the script, he proposed the idea to Shahrukh Khan several years later who instantly agreed to produce and star in it.[6] Red Chillies Entertainment's Keitan Yadav revealed that during the release of Main Hoon Na (2004), Khan was keen on making a VFX-loaded film that was larger than life.[7] His production company continued working on other projects and seeking for the right film until they finally decided on Ra.One.[7] As pre-production work began to occur in 2007, Sinha spent several months going through video clips, digital art portals and comic books; he later explained that this process helped him in creating a novel character.[8]

"Ra.One is the modern, new age technology version of our mythological "Raavan", who was a mixture of ten different evil characters. I am essaying the role of G.One or better say "Jeevan", a superhero who saves the mankind from Ra.One's torment. Through this film, I want to prove that Indian superheroes can also be as cool as the international ones."[9]

The film's crew comprises of more than 5,000 members from India, Italy and the US, and was pieced together by more than 1,000 people, working in shifts, in around 15 studios across the world.[8] Special effects creator Robert Kurtzman was assigned to design the suits of Khan and Rampal's characters. While both the actors shot the film wearing a simple suit, a good deal of sparkle and polishing was later added to enhance its look.[7] Nicola Pecorini was roped in as the director of photography, with V. Manikandan providing extra assistance, and Martin Walsh was responsible to edit the film.[8] Sound designer Resul Pookutty was assigned the duty of enhancing the sound effects with the use of the Dolby Surround 7.1 system. In an interview, he explained, "Ra.One is not just a movie experience [...] It requires a very unconventional sound and visual quality for which we are installing the required equipment."[8]

Due to the revived interest in 3D technology in India, brought in by the success of Haunted – 3D (2011), the makers of the film announced that they were contemplating on turning portions of the movie into 3D. Khan revealed in an interview that "some part[s] of the film we are trying to do in 3D and Prime Focus is doing that for us. They have a technology with which after you have shot the film, it could be converted into 3D. But there are reservations on it because you know that we have to shoot that with different cameras."[10] In July 2011, it was announced that the entire film would be converted into 3D, a process that required the collaboration of several individuals.[11] The film is reported to have close to 3,500 VFX shots, with 800 of them being solely dedicated to G.One's suit alone, thus exceeding the total amount of shots that was used in the 2009 Hollywood film Avatar.[7] Keitan Yadav notes: "There is no software or technique in the industry that we have not used for this film. For 3D, we have used software like Maya, Houdini and Macs. For composites, we have used Nuke and Shake. We have even written our own programmes. We programmed certain things rather than doing them manually."[7]

Reports of similarities between Ra.One and the 2010 Tamil release Enthiran have been surfacing since the former entered principal photography. When asked about the comparisons, Khan noted "They [both] are different films. I will not like to talk about anyone else's film but Rajni sir is respectable to all of us."[12]

As a way to make his character more believable, Khan decided that he would perform his own stunts in the film.[13] In 2010, Kareena Kapoor was signed on to play the female lead whilst Arjun Rampal was later approached for his role of a villain. During an appearance on the chat show Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, Khan stated that Jackie Chan was "approached for a role in the film". Khan had reportedly sent Chan the detailed script of the film, along with the action sequences and a brief synopsis of his character;[14] it was later confirmed that Chan would not be part of the project.[15] In July 2010, Khan announced that Chinese-American actor Tom Wu would be part of the film.[16] Actors Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka Chopra were confirmed to make cameos[17] whilst actor Rajinikanth will be seen appearing in a special scene.[18] The actor shot for the film on October 2, 2011 at Subhash Ghai's Whistling Woods Studios with his daughter Soundarya in Mumbai despite of recent health problems.[18]

Ra.One's shooting was originally supposed to begin in Miami, USA, but due to budget concerns this was scrapped.[19] The first phase of filming began in India in March 2010 and continued until May in Mumbai's Film City and Goa.[20] While filming, Khan admitted to finding difficulties with the rubber-made costume that was specially designed for his character, later commenting: "The costume was designed in a way that I had to take the help of girls to get into it and vice-versa. I wasn’t allowed to eat or drink much in between the shoots [...] By the time, the shooting of the film was wrapped up; I ended up losing ten kilos."[9] Production of the film's second and third phase occurred with the entire cast in London, and ended in August,[21] which included a heavy duty action scene involving Khan and Kapoor.[22] During this period, a picture of Kapoor's character was also revealed to the media.[23] The film's final phase commenced at Filmistan Studio in December 2010 and was shot over seven days.[24] The remaining portions were shot in Mumbai and completed in July 2011. While shooting for the film in Mumbai, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev visited Yash Raj Studios, to watch Khan at work.[25] In order to celebrate the film's completion, a wrap-up party was held at the end of the month in Mumbai.[26]

Director Anubhav Sinha announced that the soundtrack would also feature two songs recorded by Senegalese American R&B singer Akon.[27] The makers of the film have complied with international copyright laws and have obtained the license to use Ben E. King's song, "Stand By Me", on which they have based the song "Dildaara".[28]

In March 2011, it was announced that the television broadcasting rights for Ra.One had been sold to Star India for a record sum of INR35 crore (US$7.81 million), surpassing the previous record of 3 Idiots for INR33 crore (US$7.36 million).[29] The film's music rights were bought by T-Series for INR15 crore (US$3.35 million) whilst the distribution rights were acquired by Eros Entertainment for INR77 crore (US$17.17 million).[8]

The producers of Ra.One set a record marketing budget of around INR40 crore (US$8.92 million), of which INR15 crore (US$3.35 million) had been used for online promotion, making it the highest ever for a Bollywood film.[30] The publicity campaign of the film has often been cited as the "longest promotion in Bollywood history", as well as "the most comprehensive and all-pervasive among people's lives".[29]

Ra.One's first look was unveiled by Khan on his Twitter page on January 1, 2011.[29] Several months later, director Anubhav Sinha announced that he would be launching two teaser trailers of the film during the 2011 Cricket World Cup, a prior nine months before the film's actual release date.[31] Asked about why he was launching the film's trailer so early, Sinha commented, "Ra.One is not a Bollywood film that [the audiences] have seen before. The kind of size and magnitude that the film has requires it to be slowly introduced to the audience and that is the very purpose why we are starting the whole communication so early."[31] The film's first theatrical trailer was released three months later to the public. As a way to promote the theatrical trailer, Khan was accompanied by the director on a five city tour, which included such places like Delhi, Chandigarh, Indore and Ahmedabad.[29] Khan further reported that he would be travelling along with his co-stars (Kapoor and Rampal) to 36 different cities over a period of five months to promote the film.[29] During the same event, a 3600 ft long fan mail collecting audience wishes and messages for the film was also launched.[29]

In early September, Red Chillies Entertainment launched the official channel of the film on YouTube where several song and theatrical promos were released to the public, along with videos of the film's making, events and uncut footage.[29] The channel also hosts games including the first social game from India, contests where participants can create Ra.One promos from clips, music and dialogues of the film.[32] In addition to YouTube, Khan also announced that the film would be collaborating with Google Plus and Nokia to promote the film and its merchandise.[29] Khan also announced a collaboration between the film and the Formula 1 races, as a part of the inaugral Indian Grand Prix.[29] In late September, Khan announced that the film had tied up with Western Union for international promotions. Three weeks before the film's release, the company launched a multi-million-dollar mass media campaign to honor the millions of Indians working overseas. Encompassing radio, television, print media and outdoor advertising, the campaign was launched in the United States, Canada, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific.[29]

The negative character of Ra.One, played by Arjun Rampal, was initially announced to be on October 6, 2011 on the eve of Dussehra. According to the producers, the time was chosen to show the symbolism between the character and the mythological villain Ravana (of the Ramayana), both of whom are supposedly "equally bad".[33] However, due to certain technical glitches, the revelation of Ra.One's look has been postponed to October 11.[34]

In July, Red Chillies Entertainment declared a tie-up with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) to build a full cycle game of the film on PlayStation which offers more than 20 game environments. The film’s characters have been replicated to provide the look. It also uses original voice-overs from the actors.[35] The video game, called "Ra.One - The Game", is available on PS2 and PS3, and was launched in an event at Mumbai on the 5th of October. The PS2 version is meant for the Indian market while the PS3 is for the international market. The game boasts of a series of firsts: a first full cycle BluRay PS3 game developed with an Indian developer; first console game to be dubbed by a leading Bollywood actor and also the first Bollywood title to appear as a full cycle PlayStation game.[36]

In addition to launching the video game, Red Chillies also collaborated with UTV Indiagames to design a social game based on the film.[37] An investment of around INR4.5 crore (US$1 million), the storyline of the game, unlike the console game, is not borrowed from or similar to that of the movie however it is based on the character of G.One. The game is launched across platforms like mobiles, tablet PCs, the direct-to-home platform and social networking sites like Facebook.[37] According to the company's digital and new media head Shailja Gupta, the idea behind the digital marketing is to create a franchisee for Ra.One. She explained, "Social gaming is just one part of the digit marketing strategy. The unique part of the social game is the integration of merchandise and gaming."[37]

As a way to promote the film and increase its franchising business, Red Chillies announced that they have collaborated with UTV Indiagames to develop digital comics based on the film's characters. Written by Shahrukh Khan, the comic has weekly episodes and serves as a prequel to the events happening in the movie.[3] Moreover, an official G.One store was also launched on the film's official website, where people could buy merchandises related to the film. Products included back to school items, limited edition toys, as well as many other things.[38] A jewelery line inspired by the symbol of "Ra.One" was also unveiled at an event in Mumbai.[30]

And its lead actor, Kareena Kapoor is thrilled. “I spoke to Salman in the US post his surgery. We congratulated each other on our huge success and he asked me how it felt to feature in the No 1 and No 2 films of the year. I wondered which was which and he said we’d chat about it once he got back,” chuckles the actor, who after 3 Idiots and Golmaal 3, is being touted as the Rs 100 crore heroine.
Kareena admits that after they picturised the romantic, Teri Meri Prem Kahani, she was confident that the film would be a monstrous hit. “But I wasn’t expecting my movies to be competing with each other in terms of box-office collections. It’s something I’ve dreamt of for years, worked hard towards, and today, have no time to enjoy because I’m so busy.”

Actress Kareena Kapoor is upset after learning of rumours being apparently spread by a contemporary actor. This actress apparently told a common friend that Kareena’s wax statue at Madame Tussauds was “nothing but a gimmick”.

“Kareena was deeply hurt when she heard about the heroine bitching about her in her close circles. You will never find her talking to her again. She is hurt,” says a close friend of the actress.
Apparently, the heroine in question is also getting her share of international fame that she and her publicity team have been steadily working on, over the past few months.

So, what triggered off this comment? Ever since it came to light that Madame Tussauds was looking out for a Bollywood heroine to succeed actor Aishwarya Rai’s statue at the wax museum, it apparently triggered off a race among Bollywood heroines, which finally boiled down to Kareena and another leading heroine. But when the former finally clinched the deal, the latter apparently tried to de-stabilise the deal.

“The first thing that Bebo heard was that her statue is of no importance as it is small compared to Aishwarya’s (in height). Then came more gossip that it is being installed in the Blackpool branch as opposed to Madame Tussauds on Baker Street in London. Bebo couldn’t imagine that this heroine could indulge in such salacious gossip when she is also getting her share of international fame,” the friend adds.

However, according to a statement by the company that hosts the wax statues, the statues depicting various Bollywood stars will now tour across Madame Tussauds all over the world (including several locations in US) as a part of brand new exhibition. Wonder what new gossip will accompany this?

This edition of Femina titled ‘The Best Of Femina Faces’ is a collector’s special edition. Sonam is looking dazzling on the cover page of the magazine. She has been styled in three different ways to portray the looks of yesterday, today and tomorrow.

A couple of days back Sonam launched the OK magazine’s June edition. Though she was looking pretty at the OK launch, she went for a more mature attire at Femina’s launch. Sonam wore a Diane von Furstenberg dress and complemented it with a Fendi Peek-A-Boo bag.

Mallika Sherawat sheds clothes in ‘Double Dhamaal’ 2011

The hottest buzz doing the rounds in tinsel ville is that the sizzling ‘Jalebi Bai’ Mallika Sherawat has shed her clothes for her upcoming film ‘Double Dhamaal’.

Reportedly, the B-town bombshell Mallika Sherawat will be showing her curves by donning a tangy orange bikini top with a golden beige printed sarong in the sequel of ‘Dhamaal’.

When Sanjay Dutt, who plays Mallika’s husband in the film, was asked to rate Mallika’s bikini avatar, the actor gave his on-screen wife a 7 out of 10.

Grapevine has it that amidst all fun and dhamaal on the sets of ‘Double Dhamaal’, actor Sanjay Dutt played a prank on co-star Mallika by making his driver Prasad play the role of the actress’s father in the film.

Sanjay’s driver Prasad was asked to act like Mallika’s dad and he was also dressed up accordingly. It was an emotional scene where Mallika was required to plead to her dad and the latter in turn, as scripted, had to remain pigheaded.

Though the scene was shot with much fun and frolic, it is doubtful whether the movie editors will be including it in the film.

Talking about the extra shot, director Indra said, "As our film is a comedy, Sanju approached me to let Prasad do a prank act with Mallika. So I narrated the scene and she got ready to enact it. But while doing the scene, Prasad said something
really funny to her and she was taken aback. Sanjay burst out laughing.

“The film is full of pranks played on each other, off-screen as well as on-screen!"

Sanjay and Mallika didn’t get along well on the sets of DD?
Gossipmongers have suggested that the ‘Double Dhamaal’ co-stars Sanjay Dutt and Mallika Sherawat didn’t share a good rapport while shooting for Indra Kumar’s film.

When asked about the so-called tiff between Mallika and him, Dutt stated, "What's there to not get along with anybody? We are professionals. We go to the sets, work and leave."

"Yes, we are a group of guys, and guys have fun! So, it was great! "Well, women go shopping! And we just can't go with them," he added talking about the fun on the sets.

Besides Sanjay Dutt and Mallika Sherawat, the film also stars Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Jaaved Jaaferi, Aashish Chaudhary, Kangana Ranaut and Satish Kaushik in prominent roles.

Ranbir Kapoor kicks off Simi Garewal’s new show with a straight talk. Ranbir talked about being in love three times and how shy he’s been in approaching the girls.

Simi Garewal opened her new show ‘India’s Most Desirable’ on Sunday with Bollywood’s handsomest bachelor Ranbir Kapoor.

Over time, Ranbir Kapoor has earned the reputation of a skirt-chaser, a Casanova who can’t stick to a single girl for long. The sourest perhaps was his break-up with Deepika Padukone who later went to town talking through the media about how she felt cheated by Ranbir and also throwing the hints that he was unfaithful in the relationship.

On the first episode of Simi Garewal’s show ‘India’s Most Desirable’ Ranbir came clean about his break-up with Deepika. He apparently harbours no grudge against her, despite the fact that she has spoken some uncomplimentary things about him.

“I still respect Deepika a lot. I had a beautiful relationship with her. She has some angst against me...I think it would have been more graceful of her if she had picked up the phone and speak to me about it rather than speaking on a public platform. She didn’t do that. But still I respect her. Still wish her all the best in life.”

Speaking about his current relationship status, Ranbir said: “I am absolutely single. I’m not looking for love. I believe that it will come at the right time. I wanna get married, I wanna be in love, I wanna love one person, I wanna make that person happy, and I wanna have a lovely life with that person.”
