Katrina Kaif Top And Hot Pictures

Kaizad Gustaad discoverd Katerina Kaif and brought her to India to star in his movie Boom (2003). Kaizad was a noted short story writer, but one cannot excel in all genres of art. Katerina was all of 17 and cute as a button. It was almost a crime to cast someone like that in a movie like this. Newcomers have had nightmares about having debuts like this. It could have finished off lesser mortals. But our Kat came from tougher stock. She had been modelling since she was 14. She was born (16 July 1984) in London, brought up in Hawaii and London and not the kind to be cowed down by one resounding failure. Besides, Kaizad's mistake could not harm this pretty face.

Kat recognised that her biggest hurdle to a career in hindi films was her faulty diction. Kat waited, took lessons in Hindi, stayed on in Mumbai, and took on various modelling assignments. She modelled for LG, Veet, Lakme and various other premium brands. Her innocent face, and fabulous body was an instant hit. In 2005 she came out again with a small role in the successful Sarkar. Co-starring with Abhishek, she was able to register a positive presence in movies at last.

HUNKS AND BABES

Maine Pyar Kyon Kiya by David Dhawan was practically like a family outing for her. With brothers Salman and Sohail beside her, she could do no wrong. Her faulty voice (nice timbre but the London accent - no no no ) was dubbed and guess what. She looked pretty as a picture as the two brothers stalk her and bow before her every whim. In the end of the movie she loses (gives away rather) the man to Sushmita. But she played a softhearted tempramental ingenue. The role suited her to a tee and she finally had a kind of an outing all actresses dreamed of. The nightmare of Boom was far far away.

Raj Kanwar's Hum ko Deewana Kar Gaye cast her with Akshay Kumar. She played a girl who falls in love with a man inspite of being engaged to some other person. The impulsive role suited her, she had great chemistry with Akshay. The movie did not do too well at the box office but no matter, she was appreciated for her performance.

HELLO INDIA

Namaste London starred Katerina with Akshay again. Vipul Shah's movie touched all the right chords. A London mem who is married to a Punjabi desi munda by force. She comes to India with him and is charmed by apna desh and decides to leave the horrible paraya desh and make makki ki roti for her man forever. Sniff.. touching !

The movie was one of the biggest hits of the year with its emotional, comical and romantic content. Katerina couldnt have asked for more.

Right on its heels came the Deol dhamaka, Anil Sharma's Apne. She got to date Bobby Deol in the movie and they made a cute couple. Her part was more or less decorative, but it made her a part of another big hit of 2007.

SONI KUDI

David Dhawan came out with his version of Hitch, Partner. Govinda and Salman teamed up to help Govinda win over the super hot Katrina. Katrina was the Soni in 'Soni de nakhre sone lagde mainu'. Her lovely looks looked perfect in this movie, which was the another big grosser of 2007.

She is much more comfortable speaking Hindi now, and has a comfortable ranking at the box office.

GOSSSSSIP

Boom has been voted the worst movie ever. Katerina, as a newcomer could be excused for being associated with it. There were old hands like Amitabh and Zeenat who should have known better. People still shudder when they talk about sitting through Boom.

Kat has been involved with Salman. That is the start and the end of gossip. Despite being seen together all the time, the couple refuses to go official. With the kind of problems Salman has been facing, maybe they want to wait and watch how things work out.Kat is certainly a pretty lass, but with the Salman tag no man would dare to touch her.
